In the 1960s and 1970s Gō (or Tsuyoshi) made more than thirty screenprints which included flowers and (or) birds. Most pictures also included a number of unrelated objects which were often arranged in a puzzling way. As a result, Gō’s art is difficult to understand fully. His prints have many of the characteristics of American Pop Art made in the 1960s and 1970s; namely, novel composition, intense colors and objects outlined in black.
